Beauty, incarnate

Samuel Elbilia has been an interior architect for over 10 years. Each project integrates the space into the lifestyle of its current occupants, in a sober style that emphasizes craftsmanship and the nobility of materials.

The firm called on Bruno to embody a mindset that we share all too well: the love of beauty, as long as it is alive, as long as it makes sense.

An architectural direction

Samuel Elbilia's interior architecture optimizes space without neglecting refinement. To convey this approach, the artistic direction draws on Swiss design: an obvious choice since it serves the same goals. Gridded, like a plan, almost mathematical, it accompanies with functionality and sublimates with its purity. The Lausanne typeface suffices.

The purity of raw

Samuel's organic vision inspired Bruno to create a play of textures: grained paper, cardboard… also reminiscent of the architect selecting his materials. These natural colors warm the timeless black and white duo. We brought back the sensuality that was missing in a highly Cartesian aesthetic.

Ultimately, the graphic composition is there only to elevate the client's creations. The raw photography is the central element.

Freeing movement

Just as the inhabitant must be able to move freely in the space, the user must be able to navigate the website smoothly. Our reflections led to a development designed to be discreet.

With content as polished as the photographs provided, 80% of the work was done. No need to disguise, just highlight: gentle animations, use of parallax to give depth to navigation, and a horizontal scroll of the projects. As if flipping through a catalog.

At Bruno, simplicity is always carefully considered. While the teams opted for a development that does not eat into performance, it did not stop them from working on details like the cursor or buttons. This is what we call micro-interactions: imperceptible effects that stand out and humanize.

The goal: to lighten the cognitive load as much as possible to let the visitor fully enjoy the exploration.
